The most exciting annual event in Lae – the 2024 Morobe Show, returns on the 19th to 20th October.
The Morobe Show is hosted by the Morobe Provincial Agricultural Society and showcases the various agricultural, industrial and commercial features of the Morobe Province. This years theme of the show is Sustainable Agriculture – Grow it!
Visitors get to experience the incredible cultural variety of Morobe, home to Papua New Guinea’s second largest city of Lae. The city is home to a growing number of settlers from the neighboring regions of the Highlands, Momase and New Guinea Islands.
Expect to see stunning exhibitions of Papua New Guinea culture, agriculture, horticulture, livestock, commercial businesses, NGO’s, and school parades.
Ticket Information:
- Gold Pass Adult: K125 (per adult)
- Gold Pass Child: K60 (must be purchased with Adult Gold Pass)
- Benefits include unlimited entry for both days, access to the Members Stand in the Main Area, parking near the showground, and access to Bumbu Road.
- Photographers and Media Pass: K350 (with a refundable K100 deposit)
- Full access to both days, including the Main Arena on October 20th for the Sing-Sing event.

- Child: K12 (Under 12 years, free for babies under 2)
- Tickets are available at the Church Street Ticket Booth, opposite St. Paul’s Primary School.
- Gate Price General Public Tickets (on the event day):
- Adult: K15
- Child: K10 (Under 12 years, free for babies under 2)
- Available from the gate on show weekend only.

Note:
- Several sections are already closed for registration, including Sing-Sing groups, Cowboys, Schools, Marching, and Liklik Haus Stall.
