Itinerary

Day 1 ā€“ Port Moresby ā†’ Buka ā†’ Ruruvu

Kickstart your Easter adventure with a warm welcome in Buka! Meet your tour guide, then cross the stunning Buka Passage and journey 4 hours through scenic landscapes to Wakunai. Venture inland to Ruruvu to meet the Upe people, witness their unique culture, and explore the breathtaking Ivitu Waterfall.

Overnight: Rotokas.

Discover the powerful stories of Bougainville as you drive to Arawa and visit the Panguna Mine, witnessing firsthand the impact of Rio Tinto and hearing the history from locals still processing gold. Explore Loloho Beach, stroll through Arawa Town, and end the day in Topinang Village, soaking in authentic village life.

Overnight: Topinang Village Bungalows.

After breakfast, journey to Kobuan and hop on a boat to the pristine Asio Beach. Spend the day snorkeling in vibrant waters, kayaking along the coast, or simply relaxing on the beach. This is your ultimate day of sun, sea, and serenity.

Overnight: Asio Free Wave Bungalows.

Rise early and enjoy a scenic drive from Kobuan Beach to Buka. Savor a farewell breakfast before heading to the airport for your flight back home, taking with you unforgettable memories of Bougainville.
