Established in 2023, Sepik River Village Stay is an initiative of the villagers of Korogu Village at the Sepik River in Papua New Guinea.
They have built several new guesthouses which offer basic accommodations and meals to the intrepid traveller and adventurous tourist.
Nestled in the heart of the Sepik River Basin the Sepik River Village Stay accommodation offers a peaceful and serene setting that is perfect as a comfortable base camp for adventure and exploration of the unique river cultures.

With its near decade of operation, Suki Eco-Lodge provides the best in freshwater game fishing for barramundi and Papuan black bass. The local people of Suki and the proprietor Mr Dawasi Tangora give an enthusiastic and hospitable welcome, as the area’s remoteness, which has preserved the fishing, also makes every visitor a treasured guest.
Located at Nakaku, Suki, the Lodge is minutes by banana boat from a huge network of waterholes which boast world-class habitat full of all the features that barra and black bass love.
