Betty’s Place Mount Wilhelm (formerly Betty’s Lodge) is a family-run guesthouse at the gateway to Mt Wilhelm, Papua New Guinea’s highest mountain. Based in the Mt Wilhelm area, the team has been welcoming travellers since 1987, working closely with surrounding communities and employing local people across the farm and as guides and porters on the Mt Wilhelm Track.

In the spirit of A Million Different Journeys, Betty’s Place invites you to experience the Highlands through adventure and connection, supporting agri-tourism, conservation, and local livelihoods. Guests can book lodge stays (charged per person, per night and typically includes full board) and enquire about 3-day or 4-day guided Mt Wilhelm climb packages.

Transport options can also be arranged, with 4×4 vehicles encouraged.
