Preparing NCD’s Tourism Industry for the Chinese Traveler 

The China Ready Workshop is an exclusive event for the National Capital District‘s  tourism industry, proudly organized by the NCDC Governor’s Office and the PNG Tourism Promotion Authority.  

China Ready is a global accreditation system that certifies a product or service can be trusted by a Chinese consumer.  This internationally recognized system is being rolled-out in Papua New Guinea’s national capital, among affiliated members of the tourism industry.   

Since the establishment of direct flights from Guangzhou to Port Moresby via China Southern Airlines, tourism in PNG’s capital is expected to increase in the coming months.  Hence, the PNGTPA along with the NCDC have embarked on a program to prepare the tourism industry to receive the Chinese traveler.
