Lissenung Island Resort

Lissenung Island Resort is a 20-minute boat ride from Kavieng town in New Ireland Province.

There are 7 ocean-front rooms (6 with private facilities) in 4 spread-out duplex bungalows, furnished with hardwood floors and spacious verandahs. Tropical and international alfresco dining enhance your experience of island life.

Other than a handful of local staff, you won't see another soul. You can easily circumnavigate the entire island in 10-15 minutes. 

Deckchairs and a bottle of wine on the beach at sunset time are the perfect way of ending an exciting day of diving.

More than 40 dive sites are available for diving enthusiasts - from walls, drift dives, coral gardens and wrecks for muck diving; from pygmy seahorse to silvertip sharks and eagle rays - all just a 15 – 45 minutes by boat from the resort. Water temperature is never less than 28° Celsius.
